Dr. Richard Mersberger, DO

Dr. Richard Mersberger, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician who will see patients at Jasper Primary Care and Rome Primary Care. He earned degrees from the University of Colorado and North Georgia College and State University before graduating Cum Laude from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2002. He completed his residency at Floyd Medical Center Family Practice Residency from 2002–2005. His medical interests include primary care procedures, chronic disease management, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and clinical education. Outside of medicine, Dr. Mersberger enjoys fishing, reef aquariums, gardening, hiking, travel, WWII history, Nebraska Cornhusker football, and writing a field guide on Florida saltwater sportfish.
