Anna Alexander, CPNP, CLC

Anna Alexander, MSN, CPNP-PC, CLC, is a Board-Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that helps children thrive from infancy through adolescence. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of West Georgia before completing her Master of Science in Nursing, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, at the University of South Alabama. Before becoming a pediatric provider in 2017, Anna spent four years as a registered nurse in the NICU and later worked in Urgent Care at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Those experiences helped shape her passion for preventive care, early intervention, and supporting families through every stage of childhood.

Anna has a special interest in well-child care, child development, ADHD, and pediatric mental health. She is also a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and is passionate about supporting new mothers, whether they choose to breastfeed, bottle-feed, or use a combination of both. She has completed extensive post-master's education focused on ADHD and pediatric mental health and believes one of the most important parts of pediatric care is listening to parents. Anna strives to partner with families, recognizing that parents know their children best and deserve a provider who values their insight and works alongside them to support their child's health and development.

Outside of the office, Anna is a busy mom of five children (ages 14, 13, 12, 5 and 10 month old baby), including her bonus daughter, and enjoys life with her wonderful husband and family. Together, they love hiking, traveling, exploring national parks, relaxing at the beach, and cheering on the Braves!
