Allison began her career as a nurse at Egleston Children's Hospital after graduating from Emory University with a bachelor's degree in nursing with honors in 1997. After Egleston became a part of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta family, she continued to work on the inpatient general pediatric floor as well as working at the pediatric gastroenterology clinic of Emory Children's Center. In 2001, she began working at Inner Harbour Hospital as a nurse for an inpatient child mental health program. In 2002, she attended Vanderbilt University to advance her education with a master's degree in nursing. After graduating with honors, she became a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Over the past 20+ years, she has worked in a variety of pediatric clinics all over the state of Georgia including working at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Urgent Care at Town Center. Her passion is providing the highest quality of healthcare to her patients and their families and helping them to live their best and healthiest lives. Her free time is spent with her horse, her dogs and taking care of her parents who have been her biggest supporters in helping her reach her career dreams.
